How Madison Iseman Launched Her Acting Career – and Where She’s Headed Next

Madison Iseman has had a breakout year – and she’s just getting started. This fall, she’s starring in Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, a modern reimagining of the classic teen horror franchise. But long before she was leading a cast in a major streaming series, she began her journey on stage in Charleston, South Carolina, at one of Cory Dueger’s talent events designed to nurture aspiring young performers.

A Spark of Stardom

Madison’s entertainment journey began in 2009 when, as a child growing up in Myrtle Beach, she attended Cory’s talent coaching sessions and performed in a multi-day expo that included modeling, acting, and singing showcases. Her early exposure to industry professionals and performance opportunities helped lay the groundwork for a career that’s now blossoming across genres and platforms.

Double the Challenge: Twin Roles on Amazon Prime

In her latest role, Madison portrays twin sisters Lennon and Allison in I Know What You Did Last Summer. The series, which premiered October 15, adds new emotional complexity to the familiar horror storyline. Madison’s portrayal of the twins — one bold and extroverted, the other introspective and haunted — is earning critical praise for its range and depth, with comparisons already being made to Jennifer Love Hewitt’s iconic role from the original film.

A Passion for Horror and Hollywood

Horror has always been in Madison’s blood. As a child, she and her friends made homemade slasher films using her mom’s camcorder. That early creative spark translated naturally into professional roles in movies like Tales of Halloween, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, and Annabelle Comes Home.

But Madison’s career isn’t limited to spooky stories. She’s made a point to diversify her roles, appearing in everything from family comedies (Still the King, Feast of the Seven Fishes) to gripping dramas like Fear of Rain and Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac.

Now living in Los Angeles with over 40 film and television credits, Madison continues to evolve as an artist — all while staying grounded in the skills and support system that helped launch her.
