Is Rise 2 Stardom my agent?

No. We are a talent and marketing platform, and we also have a Carolina-based booking division called CD Models & Talent. If you sign with an agent or scout we introduce you to, you’ll work directly with them for bookings, while still benefiting from our continued mentorship and career-building support. You can be represented by different companies in each market, multiple agents, and potentially different agents in major cities. For example, if you are both a model and an actor in New York, you can have different agencies represent you for different areas of work, such as one agency for commercials, another for film and TV roles, and a separate modeling agent for fashion or print work.

What is the difference between an audition and a talent event?

There is a vast difference between an audition and a talent event or networking and training company. An audition is a demonstration for the purpose of interviewing for a specific role or job, and is free to attend. A networking or talent event, however, requires a full production team—trainers, directors, marketers, designers, lighting and sound engineers—plus a large number of scouts from multiple agencies and casting companies nationwide. Because of these extensive resources, a talent event requires an attendance fee.
